This isn’t for everyone, but it’s powerful.
Although it always takes time to manifest things in your life, there are a few things you can do to attract your dreams a lot faster.
Ultimately, it all comes down to your ability to cut out the things that interfere with what you want to manifest, as well as having the courage to focus all your energy on it.
What you put in is what you get out, so if you are willing to go all in on your dreams, you’ll have the power to manifest them faster.
Keep reading for an explanation of what manifestation really is, or skip to the seven tips if you don’t have time.
What is manifestation, exactly?
When referring to personal development and goal setting, the word manifestation can be defined as the process through which you influence or create your reality (the outer world) by simply changing your own thoughts and emotions (the inner world).
For example, to manifest your ideal lifestyle would mean that you first discover and think of the actual lifestyle you desire, with great clarity; then, focus your mental and physical energy on it, ideally every day; then, eventually, experience the lifestyle in the physical world, which is the final step of the process.
Because manifestation has been classified as pseudoscience, and because there are so many definitions out there (including ones that are, honestly, too good to be true, and overall unrealistic), many are still skeptical about the idea of being able to manifest something into your life, and simply see it as a marketing tactic used to sell books and courses on the subject.
However, the term has become increasingly popular in recent years (as shown, for instance, by a sharp rise in Google searches as well as relevant content on social media platforms), and a growing number of people realizes that when interpreted correctly, the process of manifestation isn’t just realistic — it’s also pretty powerful.
Let’s have a look at two possible explanations of why manifestation can really work if you invest your energy into it. One has to do with psychology, while the latter refers to what’s known as the “law of attraction”.
Manifestation from a psychological point of view
Your thoughts create your reality. You are what you think. We’ve all read catchy quotes like these, and when we do, we tend to think of spirituality and philosophy rather than psychology. However, basic psychology does offer an explanation as to why our thoughts can, in fact, influence the external world in a powerful way.
In short: positive thoughts generate positive feelings and emotions; positive feelings and emotions, in turn, tend to generate a positive outcome. The beauty of this is that, even during the most difficult times, we will always have the ability to work on our thoughts patterns, and this will give us more power over our emotions and ultimately what we experience in the outer world.
This is one of the reasons you should always believe something wonderful is about to happen. When it comes to manifestation, you want to believe you will achieve your dreams and desires, and feel the intense joy of achieving them until your mental state changes, because once you are in a positive mental (and physical) state, your actions will change as well and it will be easier to get what you want.
Manifestation from a spiritual point of view
You could also say that the process of manifestation works because it follows the law of attraction, according to which you tend to attract into your life what you are and what you feel.
The idea is that in the universe we live in, all things are interconnected, and not necessarily through a cause-and-effect phenomenon; so if you practice manifestation long enough and with great intensity, eventually your energy will transform and attract the energy of what you desire, even when it seems there’s no correlation between the two things.
An interesting phenomenon that could help you understand this is what Carl Jung referred to as synchronicity, or meaningful coincidences. Jung proposed that although the vast majority of events occurring in the external world follow the principle of causality, in some cases one may experience events that are no longer limited by time and space and instead are generated, or “attracted”, by one’s psyche.
Examples of this may include precognitive dreams, or thinking about someone then meeting them an hour later, or seeing the same numbers, symbols, or patterns repeatedly. If you’ve ever experienced synchronicity yourself, then you know it’s extremely unlikely that they’re just coincidences, or luck.
Through manifestation, you may be able to “tune in” to the energy of all the things you want to attract into your life; and because these things already exist in the universe, then it would only be a matter of time before the universe, or God, sees that these things belong to you, and gives them to you.
And although everything takes time, including the process of manifestation — you do have the option to go all in and manifest what you want as fast as possible. Here is a list of seven things that can help you do that!
Fastest way to manifest (do these 7 things)
1. Kiss your free time goodbye
When you’re truly committed to your goals, you need to forget about the concept of free time. You also need to forget about distractions — at least temporarily.
Obviously, do take the time to recharge, take care of your overall health, and, of course, practice visualization or any other manifestation rituals.
But if you want to manifest something as fast as possible, you need to eliminate any distraction that interferes with it.
The easiest way to do this is to simply replace anything you currently do during your free time with stuff that’s super inspiring and that gets you closer to your dream.
So for example, replace funny cat videos with videos of the things you’d like to manifest; instead of watching the news ten minutes a day, journal; and replace the latest tweets with books that guide or inspire you.
Each time you work toward your dream, or at least picture it and remind yourself of it, the universe will respond and reward you.
So if you’re serious about this, decide that from this day forward you will no longer waste your time on negativity, drama, or silly stuff that doesn’t help you manifest in any way.
The more you’re willing to cut out useless distractions, the cleaner and higher your energy will be, and that’s key to manifesting something fast.
2. Block those who don’t align with what you want to manifest
Surprised? You shouldn’t be. The second rule to manifest as fast as possible is to stop talking or interacting with those who don’t believe in you or send you negative vibes in general.
Obviously, there are exceptions — use common sense, and don’t ghost anyone unless necessary.
But if you truly believe in your goals and dreams, and you have decided that you want to manifest them in the physical world, and you don’t want to keep waiting forever, negative people are one of the things you simply need to let go.
No matter how confident you are or how much you think you can ignore negativity, toxic people take up space in your subconscious mind whether you realize it or not.
So do yourself a favor and have the courage to block all those people who discourage you, the naysayers, those who think you’re selfish, or crazy, or whatever.
What you’ll get in return will be extra peace of mind, and you’ll be able to use that to manifest your dream life a lot faster.
You’ll also notice changes in your mood and your ability to feel positive emotions, and if you’re familiar with the law of attraction (however you interpret it), you know that’s also going to get you closer to what you want.
3. Read, picture, and feel your goals multiple times a day
Can you really manifest something by simply writing it down?
The truth is that you can, however how much that will actually contribute to your success largely depends on how and how often you do it.
Which is why the third tip to manifest something as fast as possible is to make journaling and reading your goals part of your daily routine.
I’ve said this in other posts, and I’ll say it again here: no matter how focused or determined you are, you still want to remind your subconscious mind of your dreams, often.
Also, don’t just use words — create vision boards or any other visual reminders. Our brain likes images and responds to images a lot faster; you want to picture what you want to manifest.
If you’ve never done this, you’ll be amazed at how quickly this can change your overall attitude and how you feel about your goals.
Once you visualize, picture, feel, and reflect on your goals daily — they will soon become a big part of your life, even if just in your own mind, and that’s going to be the first step to manifest them and make them a reality.
4. Change your identity no matter how scary it is
Who are you? Are you really the kind of person who deserves to manifest a better life? Are you the person who’s capable of manifesting a better life?
Ultimately, that’s your decision. Each and every day, when you wake up, you have the power to change your identity and make it align with what you want to manifest.
The problem is, most people keep doing the same things and keep having the same self-image and thoughts about who they are on autopilot, and that’s why they never change (read Becoming Supernatural for a really, really in-depth explanation of this).
Unfortunately, our mind likes routine and habits, and hates change, especially when it comes to our identity.
So to manifest something fast, you have to be the exception and be the kind of person who is not afraid to change their identity based on what they want — instead of what they have experienced so far.
Think: if you base your identity on your past, especially negative past experiences, how can you manifest your future self and your future life?
You may still be able to do that, but it would take ages. So decide who you are today, or who you will be soon, and find ways to reinforce that thought.
For example, if you want to manifest a new business and you have decided you are a successful entrepreneur — then constantly research and learn new things, meet people who can help you succeed, wake up earlier and work on your projects because that’s what a successful entrepreneur would do.
5. Work on your limiting beliefs
If you fail to address all the mental blocks as to why you can’t manifest what you want, you’re going to have to wait a long time before you can live your dreams.
Think and identify all those negative thoughts and limiting beliefs that prevent you from living the life that you desire, and feel free to write them down on a piece of paper.
Is it the thought of “I’m not good enough”? Or is it that you perceive the whole manifestation process as too difficult, or something that doesn’t really work unless you get lucky?
Is it the belief — and this is huge — that you don’t deserve what you want to manifest? Like, do you feel guilty, or selfish, for wanting to manifest all these wonderful things?
Be 100 percent honest with yourself because as long as there is a part of your mind (and therefore part of your energy) that goes against your goals, the fight will be within you, and that’s the hardest fight ever.
The battles that count aren’t the ones for gold medals. The struggles within yourself — the invisible battles inside all of us — that’s where it’s at.— Jesse Owens
6. Let go and be open to new possibilities
When it comes to manifestation and attracting what you want in general, you need to learn to surrender.
I don’t care how intelligent you are — your intelligence itself won’t be enough to achieve your goals, unless they are ridiculously small, and you don’t want that anyway.
The key to manifesting something as fast as possible, then, is to surrender to the highest possible form of intelligence, and that’s the energy of the universe, or God, or whatever you believe in.
Even if you think you have come up with the greatest plan ever, the universe may have an even better plan for you, and you need to listen to your intuition to tune into that. You need to surrender and let the universe do the work for you.
Now, don’t get me wrong — you still need to put in the work, and as we’ve seen, the more you visualize and work on your dreams, the more you’ll be rewarded, the closer you’ll get to them.
Don’t just “trust the universe” and do nothing. But learn to be open to new possibilities and be aware that the best route to achieve what you want to manifest may not even exist in your mind yet.
However, it definitely exists in the outer world, and if you are willing to try out new things and meet new people, you will have the chance to discover it.
7. Never, ever use or think of the word “average”
If you are ambitious, and if you are reading this article, then I’m not aware of any word that’s more toxic than the word “average”.
By looking at what is “average”, you will subconsciously self sabotage. If you base your reality or your chances of success on what’s average, you will be more likely to fail.
Think of what you want to manifest for a moment. Now think of the number of people who already have that in their life.
If you had to use a percentage to define this category of people, what would that be? One percent of the population? Probably less, right?
And what would be the percentage of successful entrepreneurs? What about the percentage of those who absolutely love their job, or have an incredible partner, or wake up each day full of joy and vitality because they know they are living their dream? You get the point.
The truth is that the average person has nothing to do with you. You are not average. So if the average person finds it impossible to manifest what you want to manifest, or thinks it’s too crazy or weird or risky or ambitious — that’s nothing you should worry about!
Forget about the concept of “average” and you’ll instantly have more power to attract your dreams faster.
How fast can you manifest something?
Well, it depends! It’s the most frustrating answer in the world, I know, but it really does depend on way too many factors — including luck.
It could take you a week, a month, or over a year, but ultimately it doesn’t really matter.
When we have big dreams, and we are aware of the positive impact those dreams would have on our life, it’s only natural to be impatient.
But as explained earlier, you need to surrender and follow the plan of the universe because that is the fastest and best way. And the bigger your goal, the harder it will be to set an actual deadline for it.
Do anything you can to align with what you want to manifest, and the universe will do the rest.
If you follow the tips I’ve talked about, that’s going to help you manifest a lot faster. But try not to be too impatient because that can only generate stress and anxiety, and in turn, that’s going to negatively affect your energy.
Good luck! ✨
Fastest way to manifest: summary
- Cut out any distractions that interfere with your dream; replace your current distractions with activities or rituals that help you visualize and get closer to what you want to manifest
- Block or stop interacting with anyone who drains you; your willpower is limited and you can’t let negative people lower your energy if you want to manifest your dreams ASAP
- Make journaling and reading your goals part of your daily routine; use visual reminders such as vision boards; the more you remind your subconscious mind, the faster it will happen
- Identify what kind of person would be able to manifest what you want sooner, then change your identity no matter how scary or uncomfortable it may be at first
- Identify and address all your limiting beliefs, especially guilt (the thought that you don’t deserve to manifest a better life or that you are selfish for doing so)
- Surrender to the infinite power of the universe (or whatever you believe in) and be open to new possibilities because your plan may not be the best possible one
- Forget about the word “average” because it has nothing to do with you; you are not average and you shouldn’t base your goals on what most people do or think
